According to “Environmental Health” (2019); there are six main environmental influences related to health care:

“Outdoor Air Quality”
- “Leads to premature death, cancer and long-term damage to respiratory and cardiovascular systems”
“Surface and Ground water quality”
- “Mild to severe illness may occur”
“Toxic substances and hazardous wastes”
- “Skin irritation and throat swelling”
