TOPIC: Database Security – Specific to Electronic Health Record applications

The preparation of a research paper on a subject or topic covered in this course is required. The purpose of the paper is to allow the graduate students to review and present current literature on that subject. The paper will be graded on technical content, format, and writing skill. The paper should follow these guidelines:

1. The paper must be of 6 pages double-spaced pages in length, excluding bibliography, table of contents, or any graphic, tabular or illustrative material. The paper should be prepared in the format outlined in the APA style guide.
2. The paper must incorporate all reviewed articles in a comprehensive whole and end with a summary of findings.

Sections to be included

• abstract
• table of contents
• introduction
• conclusion
• paragraphs with headings where appropriate
• references in the text
• acknowledgements section if you got special help from anyone
• reference list at the end with links where appropriate
• figures, diagrams and tables must be numbered and labeled, and close to the first reference in the text
• APA guidelines are followed
