1.In my honest opinion, I believe the rapid growth of technology use in health care have not only caused for problems within the world of health care but it has also influenced other problems such as legislative and Government impacted in a slower rate. Meaning, there isn’t enough legislative actions being made to help protect the use of technology being integrated into health care. Technology, as we know, becomes a very sensitive issue when it comes to privacy and as well as the problematic issue of security. According to American Institute of Medical Sciences and Education, in 2015 hackers stole records for almost 80 million Anthem customers and employees, which is the second largest health insurance company in the US. With this being an issue of security, it raises the thoughts of how technology have a big impact towards people’s information and health problems. Another result from this is also fraud – gaining access towards patient’s information such as Social Security number, or submitting false insurance claims – can alter not only the original person’s name, credit and as well as credibility is a major issue that health care faces. With the rapid growth of technology, it hasn’t allowed for other branches such as the Government to follow suit on how to better safeguard it.

2.A major health care issue that has an impact on the health care system today according to forbes.com, overuse and unnecessary care accounts for anywhere from one-third to one-half of all health care costs, which equal hundreds of billions of dollars, in addition to the half-a-trillion per year experts attribute to lost productivity and disability which is considered a major health care issue that has an impact on the health care system today (Binder,2013) . Its importance to U.S. health care policy due to it affecting or influencing a group or class of individuals (such as physicians, the poor, the elderly, children), or a type or category of organization. The United States faces many challenges in efforts to improve the health of the citizenry. Although many health policies have had enormous benefit for example Medicare for the elderly and those with disabilities, advances in science and technology fostered by public funding, many challenges remain as overuse and unnecessary care accounts. Policies, which are decisions made by humans, can be good or misguided (Longest, 2016).
