2.The chief characteristics of Greek art are balance, harmony, and proportion.  Evaluate the achievements of ancient Greece, from the Archaic Period through the Hellenistic Age, in light of these ideals.  Support your answer with specific references to historical events and figures, works of art, and/or philosophical ideas..
