Enough evidence vs. not enough evidence against the null hypothesis.

When you reject the null hypothesis, it means that you have enough evidence to say that things are “other than normal.”

When you fail to reject the null hypothesis, it means that you do not have enough evidence to say things are other than expected based on a given confidence level.
