February 21, 2021Everyone…I know you’re terribly wrapped up in the American Presidential campaign, which is just getting started and will run for months(It’s actually been running since last fall), but I thought I would offer you another comparison between governance in parliamentary systems-at least the British model- and ours.
It’s already been established that the House of Commons is the big gun in the British Parliamentary system, and every Wednesday morning it makes room for the Prime Minister(who probably feels very comfortable there-perhaps you know why), for something they call ‘Question Time’. The PM comes in and answers questions posed by members of Parliament…Imagine, getting news from the horse’s mouth! Take a look and tell me what you think!
